Privacy Policy

1. Our Core Commitment

StudioLimb tools are built around local processing: files, images, code and design values entered into a browser tool remain on your device unless a feature clearly says otherwise. Separate actions that you initiate—such as sending a contact or open-beta feedback email—are handled as described below.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

  • Files you upload or process in any tool
  • CSS code you generate or copy
  • Images, SVGs, or any other assets you work with
  • Passwords, tokens, or any personal credentials
  • Personal information entered into the browser tools themselves

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

Some features store information locally in your browser so they can work without an account:

  • Favourites: The list of tools you have bookmarked is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key sl_favourites. This data never leaves your device.
  • PWA Preferences: Your decision to dismiss the install banner is stored under sl_pwa_dismissed.
  • Projects: Named projects and their palettes, typography, spacing, shadows, gradients, layouts and action history are stored in IndexedDB under studiolimb-workspace.
  • Saved presets: Presets you choose to save are stored in localStorage under sl_saved_presets_v1.
  • Session measurement: Anonymous event counts used for local verification are held in sessionStorage under sl_measurement_counts and expire with the browser session.

You can inspect and delete Projects inside the workspace, or clear all of this information through your browser's site-data controls. Export a project backup before clearing data or changing devices.

4. Contact, Guided Beta and Open-Beta Feedback

The Contact form and the Figma open-beta feedback and guided-review pages prepare a message locally in your browser. Nothing is transmitted automatically. If you choose to open your email app and send the message, your email provider sends it to hi@studiolimb.com. A contact message contains the name, reply address, category and message you enter. A guided-review request may contain your professional role, usual Figma plan, recent handoff experience, availability and optional discovery source. Beta feedback may contain your email address, professional role, Figma plan, tested distribution, discovery source, optional invitation code, ratings and comments you decide to provide.

StudioLimb uses a guided-review request only to assess beta eligibility and reply about that beta. StudioLimb uses feedback only to evaluate the product, investigate reported defects and ask for clarification when you permit contact. Neither route is added to a marketing list. You may withdraw contact permission or request deletion through the same address or the Contact page.

Identifiable beta-application and beta-feedback records will be deleted within 90 days after the relevant beta programme ends, or earlier when a participant requests deletion, unless a longer period is required to resolve abuse, security or legal claims. Aggregated findings may be retained only after direct identifiers and attributable quotations are removed. Public attribution or a direct quotation requires separate written approval of the exact wording.

No dedicated mailing-list or feedback-form provider is connected at this time. Email is transported and stored by the sender's provider and the mailbox provider configured for StudioLimb, under those providers' terms and privacy policies.

5. Analytics

StudioLimb uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate page visits, referrers, device categories and a small set of product actions. Vercel describes this service as cookie-free and based on anonymized analytics data. StudioLimb strips query strings and fragments from page URLs before its browser events are sent, limits the referrer StudioLimb sends to its site domain, and respects a browser's Do Not Track setting.

The restricted event layer may record that a visitor viewed, started, completed, copied from or downloaded from a tool, or clicked a related guide or product. It never includes entered text, files, colours, JSON, Base64, project identifiers, project values, email addresses, feedback answers or the contents of a processed asset. Only allow-listed event names and coarse labels such as a tool slug, language or button position are sent.

6. Advertising

StudioLimb does not currently load advertising scripts. This keeps third-party advertising code out of the same web origin that stores local Projects and Presets. If advertising is introduced later, it will require an isolated architecture and this policy will be updated before activation.

7. Third-Party Services

The following third-party resources are loaded by this site:

  • Google Fonts — typography (font files loaded from fonts.googleapis.com)
  • cdnjs (Cloudflare) — version-pinned browser libraries used by the QR, crop and collage tools
  • UI Avatars — a decorative example image on the snowfall tool
  • Vercel Web Analytics — cookie-free, aggregated site measurement as described above

Requests to these services can reveal ordinary connection data such as IP address, browser information, referring page and time of access. These services have their own privacy policies and may use logs, cookies or similar storage according to their terms.

8. Cookies

StudioLimb itself does not set cookies. The local browser storage described above is used only for the features you choose to use and can be cleared through your browser's site-data controls.

9. Children's Privacy

StudioLimb does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The tools are designed for web designers and developers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of StudioLimb after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
